A Space to Rethink Supervision.

The Clinical Supervision Lab is for therapists who want to:

  • Work through challenging clinical cases with support and guidance.
  • Strengthen their clinical judgment and decision-making.
  • Develop confidence in their knowledge, skills, and instincts.
  • Explore ethical questions and navigate complex clinical situations.
  • Find their clinical voice and develop their own approach to practice.

If you’re ready to rethink what supervision can feel like, build confidence in your clinical judgment, and find your clinical voice.

ABOUT THE APPROACH

Supervision that builds your judgment, not your dependence

Grounded in ethical decision-making, Regulatory College requirements, trauma-informed practice, and years of hands-on experience, supervision here is a space to work through challenging cases, strengthen your clinical judgment, and develop your clinical voice.

The approach is restorative and collaborative. You can ask questions, be challenged, build confidence, and learn to trust your clinical knowledge.

Good supervision should help you feel more confident in your own clinical judgment, not more dependent on someone else’s.

Meet Your Supervisor

I’m Rachel Hindel, MSW, RSW, a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with more than 15 years of experience in mental health and social work. I have provided clinical supervision to students and clinicians since 2019.

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that good supervision should help you become more confident in your own clinical judgment. I bring curiosity, practical experience, and a supportive but challenging lens to our work together.

FIND YOUR FIT

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to supervision. Whether you are looking for individualized guidance or the opportunity to learn alongside other clinicians, the Clinical Supervision Lab offers options to support your growth, strengthen your clinical judgment, and help you find your voice as a therapist.

Drop In Lab

“I have something specific I need help with.”

A client, clinical situation, ethical question, or decision you want to think through with someone experienced. You don’t need ongoing supervision, just a place to slow down, get another perspective, and leave with clarity about what you’re seeing and what to do next.

Bring a case you can’t figure out, a boundary question, a difficult therapeutic relationship, a client who’s getting under your skin, or a decision you’re second-guessing.

Clinical Thinking Circle

“I want to think about my work with other clinicians.”

An affordable, supportive small group (4 clinicians, 90 minutes) for exploring real clinical questions together, hearing different perspectives, and learning from peers.

Each month has a theme, such as

  • The case I can’t stop thinking about
  • When therapy gets stuck
  • Am I seeing this clearly?
  • The therapist I am becoming
  • When boundaries are complicated

Ongoing Supervision

“I need help finding my clinical voice.”

Monthly individual supervision for therapists who understand the theory and want support developing their own judgment.

Expect to be challenged, guided, and supported by someone invested in your growth. We’ll work on clinical judgment, therapist identity and voice, challenging client dynamics, burnout and self-care, ethics and boundaries, and working from your values.
